Animal Nutrition Science Degree at Hunan Agricultural University

Animal Nutrition Science is a traditional excellent major of our university with its own specialty and fame. The training aim of this major is to cultivate practical and professional talents for the fields of education, research, technology promotion, entity administration of animal production. And as the main course of this major, it is very important in the realization of major training aim. Its basic task is to provide theoretical basis and practice reference for the scientific animal production. The purpose of this course is to stimulate the study interests of students by using various teaching methods and device, so that they can master the basic theory and technique of this course, study the physical effect of the nutritious materials in the feed and the animals’ needs in it and different influential factors; master the concepts of various nutrients and examining principle, understand the evaluation and setting methods of the nutrient usage. In this course, we are aimed to foster the students’ capability in practice, problem analyzing and solving via the teaching model of combining self-study and practice.
