If you are a U.S. citizen or a non citizen with permanent resident, refugee or asylee status and the last year of your high school education was in the United States, you will apply through the Undergraduate Admissions Office. U. S. citizens who attend American Schools or International schools that hold U.S. accreditation or Department of Defense Schools also apply through the Undergraduate Admissions Office. Official secondary school documents (where necessary accompanied by an English translation by a certified translator) must be provided as part of the application All other prospective students (including U.S. citizens educated outside of the United States) will apply through the office of International Affairs. That office evaluates international educational documents and advises international students on visa matters and cultural adjustment issue Consult the Office of International Affairs for more information and an application.

Send an official copy of your high school transcript, home school transcript or GED results.

Current high school seniors must have their counselor complete the High School Counselor Information form.

Submission of an on-line application requires payment of the application fee using a credit card at the time of submission. This fee is non-refundable. If you do not wish to apply on-line, you may print the application and mail it to our office with a $50 check made payable to IUPUI.

First Generation Scholarship

The Fannie & Sam Constantino First Generation Scholarship Program is designed to provide financial and academic assistance to high school students who exhibit a high degree of motivation and academic potential and whose parents did not attend a post-secondary institution.
Foreign Language Scholarship

Each year, St. John Fisher College offers two Foreign Language Scholarships to high school seniors. These scholarships recognize achievement in foreign language as a sound preparation for college work.
The Honors Program

The St. John Fisher College Honors Program provides students with the opportunity to expand their thinking and personal limits through the study and exchange of ideas with other scholars. Honors students will receive personal attention in a small class setting created especially for this type of learning.
Merit Scholarships

Recognition of academic excellence is the foundation of our merit scholarship program. All freshmen applicants for admission are automatically considered for merit scholarships without regard to financial eligibility. Most merit scholarships range from $8,500 to $11,000 per year. Scholarship eligibility is based on high school grade point average, strength of curriculum, and SAT or ACT scores. Eligible students are automatically notified by the Office of Admissions. Merit awards can not be combined with the Service Scholars and First Generation Scholarships.
The Science Scholars Program

The Science Scholars Program at St. John Fisher College was introduced to enhance the number and quality of entering mathematics/science majors. Students who intend to major in Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Computer Science, Mathematics, or Math/Science/Technology and who plan to enter Fisher as full-time freshmen directly out of high school, are eligible.
Service Scholars Program

The Fisher Service Scholars Program is an exciting opportunity for students to continue their involvement in community service while earning a college degree. This scholarship recognizes and rewards high school seniors who demonstrate an ongoing interest in serving the need of others through a commitment to community service.

Applications for admission to occupational endorsement programs are due no later than July 1 for the fall semester, or Nov. 1 for the spring semester.

High school seniors are encouraged to apply for admission as early as the first semester of their senior year if providing a list of course work in progress. Transfer students should apply at least three to four months prior to the beginning of the semester in which they plan to enroll.

How to Apply

To apply to an occupational endorsement program, apply online at www.uaf.edu/admissions/. You can also apply by printing an application from the above website or requesting an application from the Office of Admissions. Before your application can be reviewed, the Office of Admissions must receive:

Your application must be received before the published deadlines, along with a $40 non-refundable fee.
Transcripts
Applicants to occupational endorsement programs aren’t required to submit high school or college transcripts but are strongly encouraged to do so.

Admission Requirements

To qualify for admission to an occupational endorsement program, a student must have a high school diploma or GED; or be 18 years of age or older.

Program Completion

Students should check with an advisor for the specific arrangements for their program.

Occupational endorsement programs are designed to give students occupational training in a specific field. These programs require less than 30 credit hours and will be posted to the student’s transcript upon completion and approval by the academic department. The credit hours may be applied to other undergraduate degree programs (when applicable).
