Since many of the diseases and other public health issues that can be linked to animals are emerging across the world, veterinary public heath has gained more important than ever. Veterinarians play an important role in combining veterinary science and public health to promote and protect human health. As a result, public health veterinarians are increasingly in demand. Our program is a multidisciplinary course addressing food safety, food and animal production, epidemiology of infectious diseases, zoonoses, emerging diseases, animal waste management, antimicrobial resistance, risk analysis and other issues related to human health. The program is obligated to produce professionals with knowledge and skills, who can maintain the health of animal and human populations through an understanding and application of veterinary science. Only a thesis M.S. degree is offered
